 My favorite thing about fashion is that you can take something so small and completely transform a piece of clothing.  It's mind-blowing and exciting and fun because it makes working with what you got ten times easier.  Accessories are always worth the investment because you can have a mediocre wardrobe but with fab accessories, your look is completed.
Today I wore a simple tank dress with a gold belt and black sandals with a little pop of color in a red cross body.

The key to having a perfect wardrobe is starting with a good foundation i.e. basics.  This outfit encapsulates some basics that are necessary in a closet: a simple white/cream tee, dark wash skinnies and Converse.  Everything has to start somewhere so why not start at the easiest part, essentials?
